Oh my soul! Call me late to the party, but I just recently picked up an electric pressure cookerand holy smokes! Talk about making my life easier! Not only does it allow me to cook quicker, but it paved the way for Mr. Six Dollar to cook as well since he really doesn’t have a whole lot of cooking skill when it comes to the stove. These 35 Instant Pot Side Dish Recipes and Instant Pot Soup Recipes Are Perfect for Any Budget! (1)

While I didn’t buy an Instant Pot, I did buy something that is close enough that these Instant Pot side dish recipes and these Instant Pot soup recipes are interchangeable. I actually bought the Farberware 6 quart electric pressure cooker. I love it and even though I was a bit leery due to the reviews, I have no regrets. It cooks the same, it is super easy to run (Emma runs it all the time at 12-years-old) and it has held up to almost daily use like a trooper. The only difference that I can see is that it was cheaper. I will very likely upgrade eventually to a 6 quart Instant Pot for two reasons;it has more options as far as what I can do lke the ability to make homemade yogurt and I can’t currently adjust high/low pressure. Sure, it’s easy enough to figure out, but I’d like to have that ability.
